MSS Safety Systems : Tests

The REBUS project
The system has been thoroughly tested in the REBUS project. The research company SSPA Sweden AB headed this project and the aim was to significantly improve the handling of FRB on board ferries. The project ended with full-scale tests on board m/s Stena Danica.

The tests showed that the MSS docking system:

- Eliminates manual handling of hooks
- Significantly reduces the time alongside
- Can reduce swinging motion
